i was watching the news awhile ago and i heard this news about a fil-american soldier that was killed from an ambush in Afganistan. the guy is supposed to be getting married to her filipina girlfriend. it feels sad of course but what makes it worst was that the filipina girlfriend is a highschool friend. imagine, her girlfriend even joined this game show she just wanted to win so she can save for her wedding and so she can help her family as well. i saw her friendster pictures and the guy has been in the US for four years already and they were able to keep a long distance relationship. its just a plain sad news.
